TARGET COMMUNITY AND PARTNERS

Community of Pujehan, Sierra Leone

Our focus area is the town of Pujehan in Sierra Leone. By getting a grasp of their culture and practices, we hope to understand what the locals eat and how and where they cook their meals. The solar cookers should aid them in making what is traditional to their communities.

Other Organizations: Kuyere, Okra

We hoped to learn the development models of other organizations who have similar initiatives to help streamline our process of creating and disseminating solar cookers. With changing goals of the project, we did not use end up using their development models as much as we would have liked to.

Mark Manary

Mark has been helping us narrow down the final goal of this project. He knows what the locals of Pujehan need and we hope to help them in whatever way they want and/or need.

Stakeholder Analysis

A major part of this project was identifying individuals and groups who played a role in how successful the project was going to be. With the help of the stakeholder analysis, we were able to narrow down some of these important stakeholders of our project. Based on whether the person or group had a lot of impact or little to none, we gave a score out of 5. Here is the full stakeholder analysis we performed:
